Thank you for visiting and exploring my curated collection of artworks and animations, cultivated over years of dedicated work with esteemed Animation Studios and Gaming Companies. From my tenure as a Walt Disney Classical Animator to my recent ventures as a Freelancer, I'm thrilled to share my creative journey with you.
I'm Nilo Santillan, a multidisciplinary artist proficient in various roles such as Illustrator, Storyboard Artist, Graphic Artist, and Character Designer. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing imaginative concepts to life, I specialize in transforming creative visions into tangible realities.

My artistic journey began in 1984 when I earned my Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts with a focus on Advertising. Subsequently, I established KROMA Design Studio, where I ventured into diverse creative endeavors, including T-Shirt design, stage design for concerts, and crafting advertising campaigns for local businesses.
In 1986, I assumed the role of Art Director at AMCOM, where I spearheaded character design and development projects with a team of talented artists. This experience laid the foundation for my subsequent roles, including my stint as an Assistant Animator at Fil-Cartoons, Inc., where I contributed to beloved animated series such as Smurfs, The Snorks, and Scooby Doo.

By 1990, I had joined Fil Cartoons Inc. as an Animator, where I had the privilege of working on iconic projects like Disney's Winnie the Pooh, Gummi Bears, and Warner Brother's Looney Tunes, among others. My journey took me to Walt Disney-Australia, where I served as a Main Character Animator on renowned films like The Lion King, Aladdin II, and The Little Mermaid.

In 2004, I expanded my horizons by contributing to projects like Little Dodo while working with En Armonia in Italy. In 2009, I founded Cool Creations, Phils., offering animation, storyboard, illustration, and graphic arts services to clients both locally and internationally.
​
Today, I am thrilled to continue my artistic endeavors, welcoming long-term projects in animation and graphic arts. Whether you're a fellow artist, a potential collaborator, or an art enthusiast, I invite you to explore my portfolio and witness the evolution of my craft.
